Baby dayze! The Best Tried + Tested Product Hacks

There are some things that are like gold dust…. sleep, snacks, and products that seem to be almost like magic! They’re not easily found, but when you do come across them, you wonder how you’ve lived without them for so long. We’ve rounded up the best go-to (and sometimes, secret) tried and tested baby product hacks to make your life easier!

These products are genius hacks to save you time and stress!

Magic baby products

If your little one wakes up as soon as your pushchair stops moving, the Rockit baby rocker will keep it rocking so you don’t have to! All you need to do is attach it to your pushchair or pram, push the button and adjust the speed to gently rock and soothe baby, just like you would manually.

This product hack will save tears a-plenty (for both the parents and the kids)! It’s also a product we wish we’d known about when ours were babies! The Pop & Go dummy is made from toxic-free materials and its smart design ensures the teat goes back into its built-in bubble case to stay clean when you are on the go or you drop it on the floor (which, by the way, babies do ALL the time!)

We are fans of the original Socks On, but these are next level! Meet the Twiddle Ons that do more than just keep socks on baby’s feet. The built-in toy feature sparks their curiosity with sounds, colours and textures carefully designed with key baby developmental stages in mind. So they can reach and play with their feet

Etta Loves (scientifically developed muslins)

We love a smart product and Etta Loves nails it with its collection of sensory muslins that are soft-to-touch and scientifically designed. From the colours, patterns, and space between each shape, everything is designed on consultant Orthoptist Laura’s recommendation to support your baby's visual and cognitive development.

This award-winning UK brand was founded by Rachel a dentist and mum of two girls. It’s the go-to for mealtime products - we’re talking washable and wipeable coverall bibs (that really work), easy-to-use cutlery, and hints and tips to make mealtimes more fun for kids and big kids!

This chair grows as your kids do and looks super stylish thanks to the classic Scandinavian design. The adjustable footplate and seat adapters mean it can be used from baby upwards. There are plenty of rip-offs of the Tripp Trapp design - some of which we’ve tried, but the original has lasted us seven years and counting, numerous house moves and looks hardly used!

The Owlet Smart Sock helps you to track your baby’s heart rate, oxygen level, and sleep trends from the first night you bring them home to their first day of school while streaming video and audio to your phone. Genius, right?

Put the NapNap mat inside a cot or crib and it will gently vibrate and play white noise to soothe your little one to sleep. The mats fold down really small and come with a carry bag, making it perfect for trips away.

No joke, we’ve bought this whale about ten times for family and friends. It’s THAT good! This snuggly soft whale baby soother sleep aid, night light, and sound machine is also a starlight projector that really does work. There are ten soothing lullabies, gentle birdsong and heartbeat sounds to choose from. While Cacchino originally designed this white and grey whale stuffy to soothe baby to sleep, big kids love it too!
