DAYZE X JUNIOR WOLF RUN OFFER

DAYZE X JUNIOR WOLF RUN OFFER

We’ve teamed up with The Wolf Run to give you 20% off Junior Wolf Run tickets, Sunday 28th April, Leamington Spa.

If you’re looking for a fun way to burn off the kids’ never-ending energy and make memories that will last a lifetime, then we’ve got just the thing!

The Junior Spring Wolf Run (for kids age 7+ years and their grown-ups) is a brilliant muddy and flipping fun 3K trail through woods and fields for kids and their grown-ups to run across and take on the challenges that are specially designed with families in mind. You can do an optional second lap if you’re feeling up for it on the day. Forget about competition; this event is all about enjoying the great outdoors with a supportive community cheering you on every step of the way.

The best part? Wolf Run Founder, Charlie and the team have given the dayze community 20% off all Junior Wolf Run tickets using code DAYZEWR20 until 27th April! P.s., every 5th runner goes free!

Having experienced the Junior Wolf Run with our friends last September, we've put together a list of everything we loved and all the essential details you need to know.

Things we loved when we did the Junior Wolf Run last year:

  • The vibe is fun, inclusive and family-friendly!

  • Option to do just the 3k or the 6k loop on the day.

  • Every detail is well-considered from the obstacles and parking to the on site lockers and showers.

  • Brilliant Events Village with refreshments, activities, stalls and, new for this year, activities for under 7s!

  • Marshalls and volunteers are friendly and make sure the event run seamlessly.

  • Easy to find and park at the venue.

Need to know info:

  • It is muddy… VERY muddy for those taking part!

  • You can walk and skip the more challenging obstacles – no pressure, but there are lots of people to help.

  • Volunteers on hand to cheer and direct you at every stage.

  • Free on site showers, just bring a spare set of clothes, towel, shower gel and a bag for all your muddy clothes!

  • Free key drop: leave car keys and small valuables while running.

  • Secure bag drop: £5 per bag. Bags must not weigh more than 10kg and max 40cm x 50cm x 30cm.

  • Under 12s must be accompanied by an adult and a parent/guardian needs to sign a consent form for each junior and an adult waiver for themselves.

What about spectators and kids under 7 years?

  • Free to watch and cheer. Spectators can enter free of charge.

  • Well-behaved dogs are welcome at the Event Village only (on leash).

  • Stalls + refreshments: Lots of coffee, beer, and food stalls in the event village.

  • No chairs, so bring a blanket to sit on if you need to.

  • Free under 7s obstacle course: For the first time ever, there will be a smaller obstacle course for younger kids.

  • Inflatables + fairground games: Pay for by cash or card.

On the day:

  • Parking: Just a short walk from the trail and costs £5 car and £10 minibus.

  • Buggies and prams: The walk to the Event Village is a bit bumpy in parts, so bring a buggy that’s good off road!

  • Pre-race prep: Give yourself enough time (approx an hour) to queue for your run numbers at the registration tent and lockers and any last-minute loo stops!

  • Warm-up session: Safety briefing and warm-up session kicks off 20 minutes prior to your start time.

  • Run + enjoy: Then get your photo taken after you cross the last obstacle (it’s a muddy one!)

  • Finishers medal: Every adult and child will get a medal for completing the run.

  • Event Village: Shower/wipe down and have fun and food in the Event Village.

Junior Wolf Run hacks….

  • Leave the sunglasses off until after the run, you may lose them in the mud! Our friend lost her Apple watch but somehow managed to recover it!

  • The mud is cold, so wear enough layers to stay warm, wear runners but nothing with spikes.

  • Bring a towel and a warm set of clothes for after the race, don’t forget a bag to pop all the muddy gear into!

  • Don’t run with a water bottle, instead there are plenty of food and drink stands at the start/finish area.

  • Have fun! Make a day of it with friends and family. Everyone we saw last year were grinning from ear to ear!
